For years, I pushed myself to meet my goal for perfection—working endlessly to be perfect, to please everyone, and to feel like I was enough.

But no matter how much I achieved, that feeling never came. I rushed into a marriage that wasn’t right for me, spending nearly a decade trying to make it work. By 2014, everything fell apart. My divorce left me at rock bottom—two young kids needed me to be strong, but inside I felt lost, empty, and completely unfulfilled.

To cope, I threw myself into my career, hoping success would fill the void.

But the harder I worked, the clearer it became: I was just going through the motions.

That was my breaking point. I couldn’t keep living like this, hoping something would magically change.

I had to do something different—I had to take control.

When a friend suggested meditation, I honestly didn’t believe it could help. I thought, How is sitting still and breathing supposed to fix anything? But I gave it a shot.

What I found was so much more than I expected. 

Meditation didn’t just help me calm my mind—it gave me the tools to transform my life.

  • I uncovered the wounds in my subconscious mind that had been holding me back, like thinking I had to earn my worth by making everyone else happy.
  • I learned how to handle challenges with clarity and calm, instead of being consumed by fear and overwhelm.

Meditation took me from rock bottom to a life filled with love, light, and purpose. It didn’t happen overnight, but every session brought me closer to becoming the best version of myself.
